Creating Service Records for DreamHost
The screen shot above depicts a service record example for DreamHost. Most of the fields in this dialog are self explanatory, but some fields require brief explanations.

API Key: Folllow these steps to create it:
- Follow this link to go to DreeamHost API management page
- If prompted, login using your DreamHost account credentials
- In the "Functions this key should have access to:" list, select the "All dns functions" checkbox
- Scroll down and select the "Generate a new API Key now!" button
- Take a note of your newly generated API Key

- Follow this link to go to DreamHost API management page
- If prompted, login using your DreamHost account credentials
- Your API Key should be listed at the top portion of that page
- DNS Record Types: DreamHost supports dynamic DNS records of type A and AAAA
